This website is my gift to all who “Seek His Face.” And ultimately, because all I have is a gift from God, this is God’s gift to you.
My name is Diane Neville and I am a child of God. I am grateful for His unfailing love through all of the joys and sorrows of my life. He has always been faithful to me, even when I have not been faithful to Him, and for those times I am grateful for His mercy.
I was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church, the Church founded by Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. For this gift I thank my parents who were living examples of the faithfulness of God. I am also grateful to the many priests, religious, relatives and friends who have been instruments of God’s love and His Spirit of wisdom and grace in my life. And I am eternally grateful to my husband for his love and support for all I do in the name of Jesus.
My prayer when I rise each day is “May thy will be done in me and may I be your love to others.” I end my daily time of prayer each day with a prayer of St. Ignatius. Take, Lord, and receive, all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, my entire will; all that I have and call my own. You give all to me; to you, Lord, I return it. Everything is yours. Do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace. That is enough for me.
The meditations on this website are the direct result of a Spirit inspired moment when I was doing a radio interview in 2007 on behalf of a Catholic charitable organization for which I worked at the time. The question came to me, “How could I bring together my love for God, my love of prayer, and the power of the radio to bring people closer to God?” One thing led to another and in God’s time, the radio program, “Seeking His Face,” came to life on Michigan Catholic Radio (MCR) in 2008. When MCR went off the air in 2009, I asked God to show me what, if anything, I was to do with the meditations that had been recorded. Could they somehow be made available to draw people closer to Him? And here we are!
